• Sheyenne Valley Scenic Byway

  Nice scenic drive down the Sheyenne river valley south of Valley City, ND. An optional part of the road is gravel.

  1. Drive south from I-94 at the main Valley City exit
  2. Continue through Kathryn
  3. Turn left onto ND-46
  4. To avoid the gravel, turn right at 117th St. and follow the directions to Ft. Ransom
  5. Otherwise, continue to county road 3725 the Hjelle Parkway and follow to Ft. Ransom

  Twisty Minnesota lake road. Nice scenery but you'll never notice it.

  1. From Walker, MN head east on 200
  2. Turn south on 84 or the Inter County B to Longville, MN
  3. Continue on 84 to Pine River, MN
  4. Beware of twists and turns
